When is check-in, and when is check-out?

Check out is  11:00 am, later check outs can be arranged subject to availability. Check in is 4:00 pm.

How do I check in?

Our contactless check-in process is handled through our portal. You will receive a unique access code to your room once you check-in via email. Please note, this unique code will not work until your check-in time.

Is there a front desk?

SW Beach Hotel has replaced the traditional front desk model with a contactless, all-digital check-in experience designed to help you jump straight into your ideal stay without interruption or delay. 

Do you have on-site parking, and how much is it?

SW Beach Hotel does not offer onsite parking; however, there are public parking lots located nearby. Our guest parking pass will be for LOT C3 only.  Location information can be found here

How do I use my access code and keypad door lock?

To access common areas, follow the below instructions:
1. Punch in your unique access code followed by the pound (#) button.

To access your room:
2. Punch in your unique access code followed by the checkmark button.

Doors do not lock automatically – Swipe your palm on the lock hardware to lock your door. 

Which rooms have a kitchenette?

Serenity Suite, Beach Haven, Sea Scape Suite, Playa Hermosa, Sunset Suite, and Agua Azul Suite have kitchenettes and are fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal.

For your convenience, we provide the following: Pans, utensils, plates, cups, mugs, cooking oil, cream, sugar, salt, and pepper.

Accessibility information

We are here for all of our guests. Our ADA accessible guest room includes a roll-in shower or a tub with grab bars. Have a specific question about our ADA rooms or facilities? Please contact our hotel sandy@swbeachhotel.com

Can we host an event on the rooftop?

SW Beach Hotel is the newest it location for your next group or event. Our team is standing by to help you start planning. For more information, please submit your inquiry here.


What is your hotel’s cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can unexpectedly change. Reservations may be canceled with a full refund forty-eight (48) hours prior to your check-in date. Those made forty-eight (48) hours or less from your check-in date will result in (1) day full room cancellation fee plus tax. If reservations are canceled less than 48 hours before arrival, your credit card may be charged the full room charge plus taxes. How close is the beach to the hotel?

We are a three minute walk to the beach and two min walk to the Hermosa Beach pier.

Can we access the rooftop if you are not a hotel guest?

You can access the hotel rooftop if you are hotel guest or visiting our hotel guest. Rooftop closes at 10pm daily.

Do you offer pet-friendly rooms?

We are not a pet friendly hotel.

How close is the airport to SW Beach Hotel?

LAX airport is only 5.8 miles away from our hotel.
